| I have had this idea for a couple of months now. I was always wondering - as a researcher and scholar, I have always struggled to find sources and references that have original definitions of common terms. Why isn't there a site out there that I can simply search for a specific term to find all the different definitions out there? For instance, imagine how many people have define the term information technology in their social researches. That question has been answered today with the birth of CiteTerm.com. CiteTerm is a free online resource for scholars and researchers to look up terms that have been commonly cited by others. Many of you may be wondering: a wiki is probably the last place a scholar will use for research purposes. The answer is quite simple - most of us researchers know that there are usually no definitive way to define a single term. It is a research tool that helps you find sources and references that you may have difficulty finding using other methods like citation-based searching, serendipity, and etc. Try it out and you may like it. What's more? It's free! |
